AI storyboards, animatics and 3D previs

We make ideas visible before a single euro goes into the shoot – for pitches, client approvals and planning on set.

01

Ideas in their final look

A script leaves room for interpretation, an image does not. With AI, storyboards are no longer rough sketches but frames in the look of the finished film – with lighting, mood and framing.

On request the storyboard becomes an animatic with timing, camera movement, music and voice. That way a spot can be judged, tested and approved long before anything is shot or finally produced.

For previs we stage every shot in Choreo 3D, our own blocking environment: performers, vehicles, camera paths, lens, focus and timing are locked before anyone is on set. That saves shooting time and avoids costly surprises.

What you can use it for

Pitches

Present ideas the way they are meant to feel – instead of as a mood board of other people’s images.

Client approvals

Everyone sees the same picture. Decisions are made earlier and more clearly.

Shoot planning

Shot list, camera and choreography are set before the first shooting day.

Basis for AI production

Approved storyboards and previs flow straight into the generative production – without a break in the look.

From script to previs

  1. Script & idea

We read your script or develop the idea further together with you.

  2. Look & references

Visual language, lighting and mood are defined – using reference films where helpful.

  3. Storyboard

Every shot as a frame in the look of the finished film.

  4. Animatic & 3D previs

Timing, sound and camera – a moving blueprint for the shoot or the production.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between storyboard, animatic and previs?

A storyboard shows a film’s shots as still frames. An animatic assembles those frames with timing, sound and simple movement into a first version of the film. Previs goes further and stages every shot in 3D – with camera paths, lens and timing – as a blueprint for the shoot or the generative production.

How quickly do we get first frames?

You will usually see first frames within a few days. How long a complete storyboard or animatic takes depends on the length and the number of shots – we plan it together with you after the briefing.

Can the storyboard frames be reused?

Yes. They serve as a reference for direction, camera and the shoot, or as a direct starting point for the generative production. The approved look carries through.

Do you work with our director?

Absolutely. We realise the vision of the director and the agency and work closely with camera and production – as a previs team or as a partner for the whole project.

How much does AI film production cost?

It depends on length, the number of scenes and versions, and the level of finish. After the briefing you receive a binding quote. Compared with a traditional shoot there are no costs for locations, set builds, travel or large crews – the effort goes into direction, generation and post-production.
